Q: Do I need to believe any type of spirituality to partake?
All we ask is that those who participate in Goddess Temple gatherings respect the Holy Feminine & Mother Earth. Your unique relationship with the spirit of the Holy Mother is not something we dictate or define for you. This is a safe sanctuary for people of diverse faiths & connections to Great Spirit to feel welcome & connect with the Mother.
What should I know before visiting the temple?
Coming to the temple in a state of receptivity will allow you to drink much more deeply.
Reverence is important. Reverence is simply the willingness to acknowledge that there is a mystery present that you may or may not understand.
You are welcome to pray or worship in whatever way your heart or your tradition has taught you to, although we do ask that within the temple dome, and when in the presence of others, that you be mindful of the shared space, and keep your volume relatively low. (For instance, loud, exuberant chanting of hymns is probably more appropriate for the open fields or other areas on the sacred grounds surrounding the Temple Dome.)
Mutual respect is important. What if you encounter a tradition that isn’t yours, an experience that was unexpected, or a person who is different from you? Can you see this as a gift, can you extend spacious compassion, and perhaps even be enriched by the contact?
Allow curiosity to guide you a bit – perhaps your divine has hidden itself in a place you never expected.
Take care of yourself. When you enter the temple grounds, it is assumed you do so with total responsibility for yourself, and your own safety.
Be aware of where you step, be mindful of your needs to eat, to drink, go outside, be inside, rest, have personal ritual, connect with others, or remain deeply internal.
Consider bringing an offering of some kind. This isn’t a requirement, but it can create a sense of reciprocity and sacred approach that will deepen your experience. Offerings can be candles, food to share, monetary donations, berries you picked on the way in, art you’ve created, a prayer you’ve written… or any offering of Beauty that inspires you and helps you feel connected to the cycle of abundance that is Life. Our temple is sustained by these gifts and Seva~selfless service.

What is the financial transparency of the Goddess Temple?
The Goddess Temple is a registered Oregon church. We are not a for-profit or non-profit organization.
We are primarily sustained by generous donations and volunteers. Extra funds go to Water4LifeGlobal who bring water filters to families in Guatemala.
Is the Ashland Goddess Temple a Cult?
No. Unlike the structures & policies of real cults, the Goddess Temple of Ashland does not require membership, participation, or belief in dogmatic systems.
We are an open, multi-faith sanctuary for people of diverse backgrounds to come & go as they please. Think of the Goddess Temple as a Church (which we legally are registered as) with beautiful garden features that the public can visit for prayer to the Holy Mother.
If people want to get involved with a community network – similar to any other Church – they are welcome to socialize with our community at their own autonomous choice. There is never any “pressure” to be a part of our community network.
All are welcome, exactly as they are, and we support each person wherever their path takes them.
Do the Priestesses provide s*xual healing?
No. Please do not mistake the Goddess Temple of Ashland as a place for s*xual contact. We are not associated with the “Goddess Temple of Arizona” or any “tantrika” pr*stitution groups.
On the opposite contrary, we provide free to low-cost healing services for women & femmes to reclaim healthy, sovereign relationships to their own bodies, femininity & matrilineal heritages.
Anyone who violates these boundaries will be removed & banned from the premises.
Q: How do I get involved?
There are many ways to plug into this thriving community!
